Minister presents silk clothes to Srisailam deities

Srisailam project:  Endowments minister P Manikyala Rao presented silk clothes on behalf of the State government to the presiding deities – Lord Mallikarjuna and Goddess Bhramaramba—on the fifth of the ongoing Brahmotsavam celebrations here on Saturday. 

According to temple executive officer Bharat Gupta, special pujas were performed to the silk clothes earlier at the temples Raja Gopuram before the minister presenting them to deities.

Also, the minister inaugurated a BPCL petrol bunk near the Bharat Gas warehouse here. Later, he proceeded to inspect the ring road near here. The temple devasthanam officials accompanied the minister. 

At the temple’s yagasala, special pujas were performed to Chandeeswara Swamy. Homam was performed for the public good. Rudra Homam and Chandi Homam were performed along with other rituals as per the Agama Sastra.
