Drinking water supply to be halted at Singh Nagar on Feb 23

Vijayawada: Drinking water supply to the residents of Ajit Singh Nagar living in the municipal divisions from 51 to 59 will be halted on February 23 evening due to change of drinking water pipeline at Chitti Nagar. The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation  supplies drinking water to Ajit Singh Nagar area via Chitti Nagar and Errakatta.

The civic body is changing the pipeline at Chitti Nagar to check the arrest of water leakages to the existing water pipelines. Vijayawada Municipal Corporation   Commissioner J Nivas on Wednesday announced that water would be supplied as usual on Friday morning, but the supply would be halted in the evening.
