Union Minister offers prayers at Tirumala

Tirumala: The Union Minister of State for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences Y Sujana Chowdary offered prayers in the temple of Lord Venkateswara on Saturday morning along with his family members. At the entrance of the Srivari temple, he was accorded warm welcome by TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal. 

Later, they offered prayers to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara, Vakula Mata, Ananda Nilayam Vimana Venkateswara, Bhashyakarla Sannidhi and Yoga Narasimha Swamy in the Sanctum Sanctorum. After offering prayers, the Vedic Pundits rendered Vedasirvachanam. TTD EO and Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju handed over Srivari Prasadam and Lord’s photo to the Union Minister at Ranganayakula Mandapam inside Srivari Temple. Deputy EOs Haridranath, OSD Lakshminarayana Yadav and other officials were also present.
