Sahasra Chandi Maharudra Yagam commences

Ongole: The four-day Sahasra Chandi Maharudra Yagam began with the blessings of Visakha Sarada Peethadhipati Swarupanandendra Saraswati Swami at Harihari Kshetram in Chimakurthy on Saturday.

The family members of Minister for Forests, Environment, Science and Technology Sidda Raghava Rao made arrangements and performed mahayagam at the temple where they were also founder trustees. Swarupanandendra Saraswati Swami said that Sahasra Chandi Maharudra Yagam will bestow harmony and success to everyone and appreciated the minister for coming forward to perform the yagam. 

He blessed that the state will be prosperous with timely and bountiful rains. Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao, Excise Minister KS Jawahar, Labour Minister Pitani Satyanarayana, Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana, MLC Karanam Balarama Krishnamurthy, MLA Palaparti David Raju, Ongole Dairy Chairman Sidda Venkateswara Rao and other leaders also participated in the mahayagam and appreciated Siddha Sudheer for making great arrangements.
