Rich tributes paid to Prakasam Panthulu

Nellore: Collector R Mutyala Raju paid rich tributes to the former Chief Minister Tanguturi Prakasam Panthulu here on Sunday in connection with his 61st death anniversary. The Collector garlanded the statue of Prakasam Panthulu at Vegetable market centre in the city.

Speaking to media, he said that Prakasam Panthulu fought against the British rule during freedom struggle and appealed to youth to follow ideology of Prakasam Panthulu. Nellore Municipal Commissioner S Alim Basha, TDP corporator U Bhuvaneswar and others were present.
