Chandrababu keen to join hands with Congress: BJP
Nellore: BJP state general secretary S Suresh Reddy alleged that TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu has been trying to join hands with the Congress to form a third front in the country and predicted that such efforts will not be fruitful. Interacting with the media at the BJP office here on Monday, Suresh Reddy said that Chandrababu had not given any priority to the family members of NTR in Mahanadu event.
“Chandrababu was in fear of facing BJP and hence he was frequently commenting against the party. He is almost ready to join hands with the Congress betraying people of AP. He has been following the same culture in Telugu Desam too as once upon a time he was one of the senior most leader in the party,” criticised the BJP leader. Mahanadu in Vijayawada is like a ‘Nara family’ programme, he added.
He also criticised that the Chief Minister had failed to give priority to the family members of former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao in the party activities. Suresh Reddy has exuded confidence of BJP playing a key role in the State after 2019 elections.
He said his party would win majority seats in AP and become a deciding factor in local politics. Responding to the comments of the Agriculture Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, the BJP leader informed the Minister to focus on development of the agriculture sector in the State instead of making comments on the BJP rule.
