Parents urged to join their wards in govt schools

Kurnool : District Collector, S Sathyanarayana directed the officials of education department to ensure good number of admissions of school going children and strive  to impart quality education. He inaugurated Badi Pilustondi programme here at Mandal Parishad Adarsh Primary School premises in Kallur mandal on Tuesday.  

The Collector on this occasion, taught some lessons to the children. He further suggested that the children in the age group of 6 to 14 years have to enrol their names in schools. The uneducated people are less regarded in the society. So, everyone should pursue education. Development in society is possible with the educated persons, he said. Expressing concern, the collector said that 100 per cent admissions are being registered at the initial stage, but at later stage the ratio is seen declined to 66 percent.  

He advised the students to pursue good education and achieve the highest position, to bring name and fame to parents, teachers and to their native land. The government has brought the “education to all” act with an aim to impart qualitative education. Highly qualified teachers have been employed and are teaching in a stress free state, said the Collector.

He appealed the parents to join their children in government schools. All most all schools have been provided with digital and virtual class rooms. Corporate level education is being taught at Government schools by utilising latest technology, he added. Prior to inaugurating the Badi Pilustondi programme, the Collector accompanied by District Education Officer, Tehara Sultana, Kallur Mandal Revenue Officer, Narendra, SSA. Project Officer, Vidya Sagar hoisted the tri colour flag at the school premises.
