TDP govt for the welfare of SCs/STs: Chandrababu Naidu

Amaravati: The Dappu artistes, along with other Madiga community leaders, on Monday at Grievance hall at Undavalli in Guntur, thanked the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for providing Rs 1500 per month as pension to the Dappu artistes. 

They garlanded Chandrababu Naidu in the presence of Minister for Social Welfare Nakka Anandababu and others. On this occasion, the SC leaders also thanked Chandrababu Naidu for increasing housing subsidy from Rs 1.50 lakh to Rs 2 lakh to the beneficiaries in the community.

The Chief Minister joined the artistes by beating Dappu, on the wish of the Dappu artistes. The Chief Minister said that the TDP government has been striving for the welfare and wellbeing of SC communities in the State.
