AP Government help sought for Mandiram construction
Vijayawada: President of the Vijayawada Viswabrahmina Community G Srinivasa Chakravarthy on Thursday said that the government officials should take initiative for hassle-free construction of Sri Sanari Viswanadha Mandapam and Sri Veerabrahmendra Swamy Dhyana Mandiram in the land allocated to them by the government recently.
Srinivasa recalled that at the time of Krishna Pushkaram two years ago, Sri Sanari Viswanadha Mandapam was demolished by the government. After repeated reminders to the government to allot land for construction of the demolished Mandapam, the government had allocated 10 cents land and was handed over to the Viswabrahmina Sangam on June 14, 2018.
When the construction of Sri Sanari Viswanadha Mandapam and Sri Veerabrahmendra Swamy Dhyna Mandiram was started in the allotted land, unidentified people claim that the government had allotted the said land to them five years ago.
Srinivasa said that the issue was taken to the notice of Tahsildar and the MRO had taken one week time to give clarification on the same. The community leaders requested the government to cooperate in trouble-free construction of the Dhyna mandiram.
Secretary Srkianth, treasurer Taruni Shankar, vice-president N Prasad and others were present.
