RMC to act against cattle owners

Rajamahendravaram: Municipal Corporation Commissioner Sumit Kumar Gandhi has said that the corporation is shifting stray cattle to the shelter in Bobbilanka on a war-footing basis.

The stray cattle are posing problem to the people in the city by moving on busy roads, markets, Rythu Bazaars, etc.

So far, 100 stray cattle were shifted to shelter arranged at Bobbilanka village of Sitabagaram mandal.

Criminal cases would be registered against the cattle owners, if they allow their cattle on the roads, he warned.
