Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday addressed a press conference in New Delhi clarifying that he has no aspirations for any post in the Centre.

He thanked all the parties which extended their support Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in moving the no-confidence motion against the Centre, in Lok Sabha.

Considering the development of AP in the last four years, he mentioned, the state is number one in GSDP growth even with all the constraints.

Chandrababu said that he only wanted to expose the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)'s negligent attitude towards fulfilling promises made to the state particularly the grant of special category status adding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi cited the reason of 14th Finance Commission.

The Chief Minister went on to say that they have cut-off the alliance with the BJP due to the injustice being meted out to Andhra Pradesh. Mentioning that bifurcation caused huge financial and resource losses to Andhra, he said BJP has again betrayed the state and its five crore people.

Chandrababu even stated he was deeply pained to hear the PM describing AP’s genuine demand for special status as TDP's internal fight with YSR Congress in the state.
