Mee Kosam at Vajrakarur receives huge response

Uravakonda (Anantapur): Large number of people turned up at the ‘Mee Kosam’ public grievance programme organised by the district administration at Vajrakarur mandal near here on Monday. Local MLA Y Visweswara Reddy, MLC and Chief Whip in the Legislative Council Payyavula Keshav and officials were present.

Addressing at the programme, Joint Collector S Dilli Rao directed the officials attending to people's grievances to settle all complaints which are not of financial in nature within three weeks. Those grievances which have a bearing on finances should be forwarded to the state government through the Heads of Departments.

He asked them to clearly segregate the grievances into financial and non-financial nature and attend to them on priority basis. Payyavula Keshav welcomed the conducting of ‘Mee Kosam’ in Vajrakarur. He lauded the Joint Collector Dilli Rao for assuring people to attend to all grievances in less than three weeks. 

Visweswara Reddy said that he had received several petitions from people demanding house pattas, houses, pensions and ration cards. He appealed to the Joint Collector to attend to the petitions on priority basis. He also thanked the Joint Collector for assuring to attend to grievances of non-financial nature in three weeks. RDO Malola and other revenue officials were present.
