Awareness camps on Chronic kidney disease to begin from Aug 25

Srikakulam: Awareness camps on chronic kidney disease (CKD) in Uddanam area in Srikakulam district will be organised from August 25. The district-level committee on CKD finalised the dates for these camps on Tuesday at its first meeting here on Tuesday.

District Collector K Dhanunjaya Reddy and district medical and health officer Dr Sanapala Tirupati Rao held discussions over the holding of awareness camps with all line department officials. 

On the occasion, they announced the schedule of camps. On August 25, the first camp will be held at Kaviti mandal, on August 29 at Sompeta, on August 30 at Kanchili, on August 31 at Itchapuram. 

On September 1, the camps will be held at Vajrapukotturu, Palasa on September 5 and at Mandasa on September 6. All these awareness camps would be conducted at the Mandal Parishad offices.
