MLA Manikyala Rao hailed for motivating youth on Swachh Bharat

Tadepalligudem: Municipal council floor leader Y Nagababu lauded MLA Manikyala Rao for inspiring people by participating in all programmes of Swachh Bharat since its inception by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014.

Nagababu took part in Swachh Bharat programme accompanied by Rao at Government Area Hospital here on Sunday.

He said that irrespective of adverse weather conditions, the MLA had involved in the programme.

The participants of Swachh Bharat chopped tree branches obstructing entry into the hospital and cleaned the premises.

Speaking on the occasion, Nagababu said that it was because of Manikyala Rao’s initiative, many students and youth had been participating in the programme.

Former municipal chairman E Tataji said that Tadepalligudem was the only town where Swachh Bharat was organised without fail since 2014. 

The credit for holding the programme goes to the MLA whose relentless efforts motivated many to join the programme.
