Submit action plan on Smart City: Collector Veera Pandian to infra agency

Anantapur: Collector Veera Pandian has called upon the infrastructure agency to submit action plan report for building the Smart City.

Addressing the board meeting of Smart City here on Saturday, the collector said that all the approved roads works should be commenced and added action plan worth Rs 17.10 crore for laying roads, building footpaths, welcome arches, theme parks and bazaars should be submitted for his approval.

APUIAM manager N C Rathnakar revealed that tenders were being called for roads including Saptagiri to Srikantam circle, Railway Station to Clock Tower, Navodaya Colony to Vidhyuthnagar and Court Road and for BT layer and building of footpaths. 

Rathnakar said that the works would start in the first week of September.
