NBW against Naidu a BJP conspiracy: Amaranatha
Tirupati/Chittoor: Industries minister N Amaranatha Reddy has said that issuing of non-bailable warrant without any prior summons to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in connection with Babli project agitation in Maharashtra in 2010, was not correct.
Speaking to media at Ruia hospital here on Friday, Amaranatha Reddy said as a responsible Opposition leader, Naidu fought for the justifiable waters that should come to the state from Babli project in Maharashtra.
The consequences would be serious, if Naidu was arrested, he said and added the Central government had brought the case to the fore now in a conspiracy against Naidu and in a bid to tarnish the image of TDP.
While leaving out so many corrupt persons, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA government has been showing vengeance against Naidu, who fought for the people and farmers to get their legitimate share of waters in the combined state of AP.
It was a fact that liquor baron Vijaya Mallya told that he met Finance Minister Arun Jaitley before leaving for London, he said and added even KCR had colluded with Modi and went for early polls.
