DKT pattas to 60,505 beneficiaries: Minister Amaranatha Reddy

##BIG-IMAGE##Nellore: District Assignment Committee (DAC) has decided to handover DKT pattas to 60,505 farmers converting 66,276 acres of lands of Community Joint Farming Societies (CJFS) in the district, said In-Charge Minister and Assignment Committee Chairman N Amaranatha Reddy. DAC meeting was held at grievance hall in the Collectorate on Thursday.

Speaking at the meeting, Amaranatha Reddy said that DKT landholders would get benefits from the government on par with others. He also said that they had collected details of the persons, who have been enjoying CJFS lands for more than 50 years in the district, and ready to issue DKT pattas to them. The Minister stated that there are more than 15,000 acres of dotted lands in the district.

Cabinet had already taken a decision to resolve the issues of such lands. The Minister explained that they were getting response from the public through RTGS. Reddy has informed the government is going to spend around Rs 2,000 crore for drinking water purpose in the district. 76 acres was allocated to fishing harbour at Juvvaladinne in Bogole mandal, he stated.
