Siddha family hold Ayyappa Padipooja in Ongole
Ongole: Minister for Forests, Environment, Science and Technology Siddha Raghavarao and his family members organized the Ayyappa Swamy padipooja at their residence on Thursday night, in a grand manner.
More than thousand devotees and Ayyappas attended the pooja programme, where the pandals of Ayyaappa Swamy, Vigneswara, Subrahmanyeswara, Sivaparvati and Malikapurattamma gods and goddesses were decorated with the banana trunks, marigold and other colorful flowers and garlands.
Raghavarao and his wife Lakshmi Padmavathi, their son Sudheer and daughter-in-law Sruthi brought the procession deities from the temple in Aiswarya Nagar and offered pooja.
The priest Nelapatla Ramakrishna Sastry made the family of the minister perform the pooja according to the customs and procedure mentioned in the sacred texts.
The Vigneswara Pooja, Kalasaradhana, Panchamritaabhishekam along with the pooja for the Ayyappa presided at the eighteen steps pandal instilled the devotional fervor in all the devotees present along with the Ayyappa, Bhavani, Siva and other Hindu devotees.
MLAs Damacharla Janardhana Rao, BV Swamy and others along with the officials and common public also attended the programme.
