Coordinated efforts of police, PPs needed: Dy CM N Chinarajappa
Kakinada: Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa called upon the police and public prosecutors to go for coordinated efforts in awarding punishments to those involved in cybercrimes.
Participating in a symposium on cybercrimes organised at JNTU-K campus on Saturday evening, he said due to change in lifestyles, utilisation of technology updates turned out as need and this utilisation paved way for rise in cybercrimes.
Chinarajappa said that now the cybercrimes are on the rise for money.
Eluru Range DIG Dr CM Trivikrama Varma participated in the programme as guest of honour.
East Godavari SP Vishal Gunni and director of prosecution Ramakoteswara Rao also spoke.
