‘Gang’ five days collections!

Versatile actor Suriya’s recently released film ‘Gang’ is going steadily at the box-office. The film received positive reports rights from the first day but got shadowed with films like ‘Agnyathavasi’ and ‘Jai Simha’. As these films slowed down, Suriya’s flick picked up speed and is collecting decent numbers at the box-office.

So, the film collected 4.56 crores in 5 days in both the Telugu states. The collections on the first day were just 86 lakhs. Later crowds started going to the film and in the 5 days, the film collected in 1.38 crores in Nizam, 73 lakhs in Ceeded and 70 lakhs in Uttarandhra. In East and west, ‘Gang’ combinedly minted 54 lakhs and almost 1 crore in Krishna and Guntur. In Nellore, the film collected 23 lakhs.

Though the numbers are encouraging, the real test lies ahead as the festive season is done and people are getting back to their daily routine.
