RTC driver’s suicide bid over harassment by depot manger

Barkatpura: As many as 96 bus services were confined at the RTC Bus Depot here as workers staged dharna in front of the depot on Wednesday alleging harassment by the depot manager Shankar Naik and superintendent STI Ali.

Unable to bare with the harassment by the depot manager and superintendent, a driver Veerasham attempted to commit suicide, they said. The driver who attempted suicide by consuming pesticide was admitted to a hospital in a serious condition.
