SI preliminary exams on August 27
Khammam: All necessary arrangements in place to conduct the preliminary examinations for the posts of sub-inspector to be held on Monday, informed Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal on Friday.
At a meeting with special branch officials, he ordered the nodal officers, chief superintendents and observers of the preliminary written examinations to take necessary precautions for smooth conduct of the tests.
Additional DCP K Suresh Kumar has been appointed the nodal officer for the examinations which will be conducted by TSLBR in association with JNTU, Hyderabad on Monday.
As many as 16,485 candidates are going to attend the preliminary examination. The examinees are asked to reach the exam centre one hour before. Those who come even one minute late will be not allowed to enter the centre and write the examinations, he cautioned.
The students are asked not to carry any electronic gadgets, ornaments and other accessories to the examination hall and must bring their hall tickets, photo identity proofs besides black or blue ball point pens, he added.
An awareness programme was also conducted for the staff members who will discharge examination duty about biometric system, using of finger prints, photo identification and the rules and regulations to be followed while conducting the examinations under the supervision of Additional DCP Suresh Kumar, JNTU Hyderabad Professor Giridhar and Khammam Regional Coordinator and the Principal of PG University College Vara Lakshmi.
