TDP MLA takes out boat rally

Kakinada MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao aka Kondababu staged a unique protest in Kakinada on Tuesday. He staged a boat rally with over 100 boats carrying fisher-folk. The boats started off from Jagannathapuram bridge and plied up to Upputeru.

He said that the people were being subjected to untold hardships due to the bandhs and added that by staging bandhs, we would be punishing ourselves instead of highlighting the cause.

 He said he has organized this unique protest on the call of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
