Collector directs officials to take steps to prevent accidents

Nalgonda: District Collector Gaurav Uppal on Monday advised the officials concerned to take necessary measures to prevent accidents on Narketpally-Addanki highway (NH-565) at Pangal bypass Junction in the town.

The Collector, accompanied by the police, officials of the RTA, and National Highway Authority, inspected Indira Gandhi statue junction (Pangal by pass junction). 

Gaurav Uppal advised National Highway Authority officials to install rumble strip to alert drivers to pay more attention, warning signs, mobile barricades within three days. He directed Nalgonda Municipal officials to submit signal lighting system within seven days.

RTA Deputy Commissioner M Chandrashekar Goud, DSP Sudhkar, Municipal Commissioner Dev Singh, Circle Inspector Prasad, National Highway Authority officials were present.
