Minister meets Pranay’s family, assures help

Miryalguda ( Nalgonda): Energy and SC Development Minister G Jagadish Reddy along other leaders met the slain Dalit youth Pranay’s family members in Miryalguda and expressed his grief and deep condolence to them.

Rajya Sabha member Badugula Lingaiah and former MLAs  Bhaskar rao and Gadari Kishore also accompanied him. Later speaking to the media, the Minister said Pranay’s murder was a gruesome incident and all the accused in the case must be punished and socially boycotted.

He informed that the district Collector was directed to provide Rs 8.25 lakh financial aid, a 2 BHK and an agriculture land on behalf of government. As a part of assistance, Minister Jagadish Reddy handed over a cheque for Rs 4.25 lakh to Pranay’s family.

He also assured a government job to Pranay’s wife Amrutha Varshini for her livelihood.  Government will not tolerate any sort of violence and murder, he added. Collector Gaurav Uppal and SP AV Ranganath were also present on the occasion.
