Residents fume as garbage piles up

Chanda Nagar: Due to improper garbage management at field level, garbage and trash has piled up at several places in Chanda Nagar division. In several colonies of the division. The problem is compounded by the fact that garbage is not lifted regularly by the sanitation staff. 

The piling up of garbage is mainly observed near Venkateshwara temple on Manjira road and also behind Bharath Petrol station.  Many shopkeepers and colony residents are throwing trash on road. The garbage is piling up on the roads as the garbage is not cleared by the sanitation workers regularly.

 Although GHMC officials inspected the surroundings as part of Swachh Sarvekshan, the situation has not improved at the field level. Recent inspection by the GHMC commissioner Dana Kishore had not impact due to negligence of sanitation staff.
