Corporator inspects storm drain works

Chanda Nagar: Bobba Navatha Reddy, corporator of Chanda Nagar division, inspected the storm water drain works being done from Vemana Reddy colony to Kailash Nagar Basti, with an estimated cost of Rs 20 lakh, on Thursday. GHMC sanctioned the project recently. 

She informed that the works were taken up to drain rain water on Ameenpur road as part of widening of the road works. She urged officials to ensure that no inconvenience is caused to commuters. She also asked them to complete the works before the deadlines without compromising on quality.  Local residents Pochaiah, Anant Reddy, work inspector Jagadish accompanied the corporator.
