All parties call for district shutdown today

Khammam: After the death of RTC driver Srinvas Reddy in Hyderabad on Sunday, all Opposition parties and RTC JAC called for the district bandh on Monday.

The JAC leaders and RTC workers conducted a meeting with all party leaders at Khammam town on Sunday. The leaders of the various parties Kunamaneni Sambhasiva Rao, Pothineni Sudarshan, Sridhar Reddy and P Durgaprasd appealed to the people to give support to the bandh.

They said they should not allow buses to ply in and around the Khammam region on Monday. They demanded the government to solve their issues immediately. They also appealed to the RTC workers not to be depressed. Before the meeting they paid tribute to the driver Srinivas Reddy.
