Hyderabad: Postings demanded for selected constables
Saifabad: A team of BC leaders led by R Krishnaiah, president of BC welfare association, met Telangana home minister Mahmood Ali here at his office on Friday and submitted a memorandum demanding posting to 4,200 candidates who were selected in the constable recruitment exams ten months ago. Krishnaiah said that the candidates had been waiting for a call for training for the past ten months. Some of the candidates even resigned from jobs and were waiting for the call, he added. Condemning the delay in giving posting to the selected candidates, he said that when candidates tried to contact DGP at his office, they were not allowed. The candidates did not even get any response when contacted helpline number and were concerned about the delay, he said. He urged home minister to take necessary measures to give postings to the selected candidates at the earliest.
Among those who met the minister including were BC leaders Gujja Krishna, Neela Venkatesh, Narsimha Goud, Rajender, Bhoopesh Sagar, selected candidates and others.
