Hyderabad: Women-oriented theme parks on the anvil

Hyderabad: After taking up a number of innovative theme parks across the city, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is now focusing on two women-oriented theme parks in the city.

The primary objective behind these parks is to promote women power and strength, moreover, these parks would provide enough space for fairer gender spend their leisure time and help them to hold small kitty parties. These exclusive innovative parks for women would be coming up at LB Nagar and Chandanagar.

"These parks to come up in over 1.5 acres each will benefit women of all age groups facilitating vast space for them to conduct kitty parties, workshops, exhibitions, various sessions of yoga, health and fitness. The facilities also include walking path, open gym, yoga space with hygienic washrooms," said Ravi, AMOH, Chandanagar, GHMC.

With focus on the ambience of the park, around 15 statues depicting various roles of women such as pregnancy, teacher,lawyer, mother and otherswould be installed in the parks.

GHMC is also planning to construct theme parks for the differently-abled, and to promote rainforest, botanical sciences, Telangana culture among others.Though many theme parks are on the cards, the prominence among them are women-oriented and environment-oriented theme parks.
