Locals irked over stinking open drainage nala in Temple Alwal

Temple Alwal: The residents of Bharathi Nagar Colony in Temple Alwal are facing hardships due to an open drainage nala. It has been more than a month that the locals have been facing the issue.

Nikhilesh, a local said, "The open nala has been emanating foul smell 24/7 forcing the residents to close the doors and windows of their houses. Also, there have been incidents of animals falling into nala.

The locals are also disposing of the waste and garbage into the nala resulting in choking and overflow. The overflowing drain water becomes stagnant and turns muddy and slippery posing threat to motorists and commuters."
