MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy appointed as Rythu Samanvaya Samithi chairman

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday appointed MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy as the chairman of Rythu Samanvaya Samithi (RSS).

Announcing his decision, the chief minister said that the members of Samithi will be announced later. The seat of RSS chairman has fallen vacant with its former chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy elected as MLC and was appointed as the council chairman.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister told the officials that a high-level meeting will be conducted next week to discuss the farmer-related issues.

Rythu Samanvaya Samithi which is a part of the government will give support to the farmers in seed purchasing and other factors. It will also procure harvest at MSP from the farmers and also carry out the marketing activities.
