Nalgonda: Set targets for effective implementation of schemes, Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil tells officials

Nalgonda: District Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil directed the officials to put in all efforts to implement State government's development and welfare programmes at grassroot levels.

On Tuesday, he held an introduction-cum-interaction meeting with district officials at the Collectorate in Nalgonda. Addressing the officials, he directed them to set goals as the progress of welfare schemes in the district was lagging behind for the last two months due to municipal elections.

He instructed officials to stay at district headquarters and advised them not to leave the headquarters without prior permission from him.

He informed that he would conduct department-wise meetings and would strive for the progress of the district with the cooperation from peoples representatives. District Forest Officer Shanthaam and Superintendent of Police AV Ranganath met the Collector and congratulated him and presented saplings.
