Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil warns of vector-borne disease in Nalgonda district

Nalgonda: The Government is launching an awareness campaign to prevent the vector-borne diseases like dengue and chikungunya in Telangana, district Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil said on Saturday.

In a press statement, he stated that the people of Nalgonda district will have to give 10 minutes Sunday to check their houses and ensure that there is no breeding of mosquitoes in any stored water.

The people have to inspect their houses for stagnant water so that there is prevention of disease carrying mosquitoes. People have to stay in homes and check for stagnant water in coolers, pots, tyres, buckets, gardens etc.

Empty the water filled containers and buckets present in the house, he said.
