Gundla Pochampally municipality recorded 19 per cent voting, highest voter turnout in surrounding areas of Hyderabad. 

12 per cent polling was recorded in Medchal- Malkajgiri district till 9am. 

Voting for Telangana Municipal polls underway in Vikarabad and Bhongir.

Voting has begun in 36 wards of the Armor Municipality of Nizamabad district. The polling percentage was 12.34.

The total number of voters in Armor Municipal Wards was 55,101 and 6798 people exercised their franchise till 9 am.

Peddapally district registers 22 per cent polling in the first two hours till 9 am. 

As per the statistics provided by the commission, the Congress could not field candidates in over 400 wards while BJP in over 700. 

16 per cent polling was recorded till 9am in Ranga Reddy district.
