Command Control Room arranged at Kanipakam temple

SP Ch V Appala Naidu, DSP K Eswara Reddy seen at Kanipakam temple

Chittoor: SP Ch V Appala Naidu said that effective security measures have been taken to safe guard the interests of the devotees at Kanipakam temple. Under the control of Additional SP Chandra Mouli (AR),80 Army Reserved Constables and security personnel, including dog squads, were deployed at the temple for checking security aspects.

Speaking to The Hans India at Kanipakam temple, the SP said that a command control room was opened at the temple to receive complaints from the devotees. `` There are a number of CC cameras installed in and around the temple.

Instructions were given to the security men to keep watch on anti-social elements,' he said. The SP further said that elaborate security arrangements were made at the temple on Tuesday while huge crowds of devotees across the state visited the temple and offered prayers to Lord Varasiddi Vinayakaswamy.

Deputy Chief Minister K Narayanaswamy , Panchyat Raj Minister P Ramachandra Reddy, Chittoor MLA, A Srinivasulu , Puthalapattu MLA M S Babu and others visited Kanipakam temple on the day. There were no untoward incidents, he said.

Priority will be given for checking all the vehicles at Kanipakam temple as a precautionary measure, he said and appealed to the devotees to lodge a complaint in the command and control room for assistance besides using 100 police phone number. Chittoor DSP K Eswara Reddy was also present.
