Cordon &Search operation a big hit: SP Ch V Appala Naidu

Chittoor: In order to prevent the movement of the criminals and anti- social elements effectively, Cordon & Search operation has been conducted in Chittoor and Madanapalli sub-divisions on Sunday in which the police have seized 35 unauthorised bikes, according to Superintendent of Police Ch V Appala Naidu.

The operation will help the police to prevent the criminal elements and ensure safety to the public, he said. Speaking to The Hans India here on Sunday, he said that the Cordon&Search operation of the police held in Chittoor and Madanapali sub divisions of the district has been proved a big hit.

In Chittoor Sub Division, under the leadership of K Eswara Reddy, DSP, about 100 police men have taken part in the operation held at Chittapara village, border village of Tamil Nadu Andhra Pradesh states. The police have visited all the locations of the village and unearthed 38 bikes," he added.

In Madanapalli division also , Vamsidhar Goud has undertaken the operation in Irani Colony , Vayalpad , the border villages of Karnataka- AP in which the police have recovered some vehicles. He added that the cordon& search operation will be intensified in the district.
