MP urges Railway Minister for platforms

Rajamahendravaram: MP Margani Bharat Ram has said that he met Union Minister for Railways Piyush Goel and Union Minister for Health Harsha Vardhan in New Delhi on Friday and discussed the various issues relating to his parliamentary constituency.

Speaking to 'The Hans India' over phone, the MP said that he asked Piyush Goel to complete 4th and fifth platforms and accord permission for sixth platform in the railway station in Rajamahendravaram.

He also enquired about the laying of second rail track on third bridge on River Godavari to meet the rail rush which is the need of the hour and also underlined the need to handover old Havelock Rail Bridge as the state government already paid necessary amount to railway board.

He also submitted a memorandum to Harshavardhan asking him to sanction a super specialty hospital in Rajamahendravaram. The two ministers responded positively, he averred.
