Steps on to provide relief to flood-hit in East Godavari: Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose

Kakinada : Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minster P Subhash Chandra Bose assured that necessary steps are being initiated to protect the flood-affected in East Godavari district. The Minister along with Collector D Muralidhar Reddy and SP Adanan Nayeem Asmi visited the flood-affected villages in Devipatnam mandal in East Godavari district on Saturday.

The Minister also visited A Veeravaram, Pudipalli, Posammagandi and Devipatnam villages and supervised the rescue and relief works taken up by authorities.In this connection, he said every required support will be extended to flood-affected.

The minister also said that priority would be given to RR package works in Polavaram project works. Collector Muralidhar Reddy said required material to cover from rains would be provided as requested by the local people. Rampachodavaram MLA Nagulapalli Dhanalakshmi also accompanied the minister during the visit.
