Drainage overflows; streetlights defunct

Nacharam: The overflow of drainage that is caused due to the damaged manhole on Road No 7, IDA Road, in Nacharam is causing inconvenience to locals and commuters as well. The broken drainage has become a serious cause of concern for the residents of the area.

The drainage from the manhole overflows onto the road and remains stagnant. Adding to this the road has big gaps, where the water gets collected. The issue becomes more serious when during the evening time the streetlights don't work properly. The broken drainage also leads to unpleasant smell and mosquitoes menace in the area.
