Osmania University: Leftist student associations have demanded that the state government call RTC employees for unconditional talks to resolve the 20-day strike.

The representatives of leftist student associations PDSU, AISF, SFI and AIDSO were speaking at the press conference organized at Osmania University's guest house on Thursday to announce their plan of action on RTC strike.

Speaking on the occasion, student leaders J Srinivas, B Ramu, Shivaramakrishna, Javed and Parushuram condemned the state government for misleading courts on RTC strike.

They said that the state government had formed a committee with RTC officials instead of a government committee which would have found a solution to the crisis. They said that Huzurnagar byelection result was in no way related to RTC strike, as the election was won using money power.

The student leaders announced their plan of action next week. On October 26, state-wide protests would be held in support of RTC employees' children, on October 27 burning of KCR government effigy will be conducted and on October 28, they pay tributes to Telangana martyrs.

PDSU vice president S Nageshwar Rao, joint secretary P Mahesh, AISF state organizing secretary Shankar, city secretary G Naresh, SFI OU secretary Ravi, PDSU state secretary Riaz, student leaders Vishnu, K Srinivas, Shyam and others participated in the press conference.
