Set up all-party panel on RTC crisis: Konda Vishweshwar Reddy
Hyderabad: The former MP of Chevella, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, on Monday demanded that the state government constitute an all-party committee to create consensus to negotiate with the RTC workers for an amicable solution. In democracy, dialogue is critical, he opined.
"Government and RTC workers should publicly commit that the committee findings will be binding and final. In case workers don't agree to the findings of the committee, the government will be entitled to take whatever measures appropriate within the legal framework," he said in a statement here on Monday.
Until then, the pre-agitation situation should be restored, the former MP suggested. The committee should comprise experts and representatives of the RTC workers, he added.
