Khairatabad: BSP Telangana president Sidhartha Phule has condemned the hostile approach of the state government against RTC employees who have been on the strike for the past 13 days for their just demands. He was speaking at press conference organized here at BSP party office on Thursday.

Recalling the repeated attempts by RTC unions to bring their issues to the notice of the government, Sidhartha said that RTC employees had to resort the strike as they had no other option as the state government was indifferent towards their issues.

Sidharhta said that they would inform the party president Mayavathi about the oppressive approach taken by the CM in the state. He expressed his anguish at the loss of lives and condoled the kin of the employees who committed suicides.

He demanded the CM KCR to take humanitarian approach and intervene to resolve the issue at the earliest considering the issues of 50,000 RTC employees. BSP state coordinator Gangadhar, Mallesham, Shekhar, Dayanand, Ramachandra, Sri Hari, Ramesh and others participated in the press conference.
