TS Govt schools will impart quality education: Muta Gopal

Musheerabad: Musheerabad MLA Muta Gopal on Monday said that the state government was striving to improve all the facilities in government schools so that they would be able to provide quality education on par with corporate and private schools.

He was participating in the 'Jayashankar Badi Bata' programme held at Kavadiguda government school on Monday. As part of the programme, 'Aksharabhyasam,' initiation into literacy, was conducted for the students.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that the State government was firm on developing government schools on par with corporate and private institutions. He urged people to send their children to government schools. He said that the government schools would be strengthened only when parents start sending their children to them.

Apart from strengthening all the government schools, the State government has started SC, BC, ST and minority gurukul schools to provide quality education to students hailing from backward and downtrodden communities, the MLA added.

He expressed his happiness that large number of students were coming forward to join gurukul schools as quality education is being provided in the schools. Among those who were present on the occasion include TRS leaders Muta Jaisimha, M Prabhakar, R Moses and others.
