MP promises foot-bridge in place of wooden bridge
Rajamahendravaram: MP Maganti Murali Mohan has assured people to complete the footbridge between Churchpeta and Madansingapeta shortly in the place of existing wooden bridge which has been damaged. The proposed bridge benefits a lot of people in these two areas.
He also said escalator would also be arranged on the premises of East Railway Station and the railway authorities were ready to construct toilets if the corporation allotts site to the railways. An amount of Rs 10 crore was sanctioned for the development of loco shed.
“In Nidadavolu Railway Station also there is a need of two more platforms and a VIP lounge. Steps will be taken to get some halts to express trains in Anaparthi Railway Station,” the MP added. Earlier, he along with railway department assistant engineer A Santosh Kumar, former corporator RM Rao visited the wooden bridge at Churchpeta.
