All set for Atirudra Mahayagam from tomorrow
Ongole: Minister for Forests, Environment, Science and Technology Siddha Raghavarao, announced on Thursday that the arrangements for the Sahasra Chandisahita Atirudra Mahayaga Mahotsavam, scheduled from April 7 to 11 at Chimakurthy, were complete.
Extending the invitation to the public to participate in the Mahayagam as a once-in-lifetime opportunity, Raghavarao said that about 400 priests and pundits would perform rituals at the Harihara Kshetram in Chimakurthy, under the divine presence of the Visakha Sarada Peethadhipati, Sri Sri Sri Swarupanandendra Saraswati Mahaswami.
He announced that several other peethadhipatis from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu would participate in the Mahayagam to bestow peace to the world, success to every human being and happiness to all households.
Siddha Raghavarao already invited Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, his Cabinet colleagues and friends from Assemblies of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana along with the prominent persons in Prakasam district. He invited the public also to participate in the four-day events of the Mahayagam, Sahasradhika Suvasini Pooja on April 9 from 8.30 am, Lalita Sahasra Kumkumarchana from 6 pm on the same day.
He said that arrangements were being done for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Mahayagam, for the convenience of the public and he requested them to participate in the programme without any worries.
