Sumit Kumar Gandhi assumed charge as Commissioner of RMC

Rajamahendravaram:  Sumit Kumar Gandhi assumed charge as Commissioner of Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC) here on Thursday. Additional Commissioner NVV Satyanarayana handed over the charge to the new commissioner.

Later, Commissioner Sumit Kumar Gandhi said priority will be given to sanitation, drinking water, health and development works. Steps will be taken to speed up ongoing development works in the city.

He assured the citizens to run the administration with accountability and transparency and clear the petitions received in the grievance cell. Anyone can contact him at any time, he said.

Deputy Commissioner T Raj Gopal and other officials were present. Later, TDP MPC Adireddy Appa Rao met him.
