AP Govt schools good in infra: K Dhanunjaya Reddy
Srikakulam: The government schools have well trained teachers and good infrastructure facilities compared to private schools as the government has been spending thousands of crores on the education sector, said collector K Dhanunjaya Reddy while memorising his experiences at Mana Vooru – Mana Badi (Badi Bata) programme.
Inaugurating the Badi Bata programme at government municipal high school here on Monday, he said that I have completed my studies in government schools and collegesand selected for all India services and working as collector of Srikakulam.
He appealed to parents not to join their wards in private schools and admit them in government schools for their overall development. Government is providing free books, uniforms, hostel facility and children can gain more knowledge, he said. DEO M Sai Ram, education department officials and Sarva Siksha Abhiyaan officials also attended.
