Redressing Grievances : 443 calls received under ‘Dial 100’ Programme

 Guntur: Urban police received 443 phone calls to the Dial 100 programme during May 2018.

Urban Superintendent of Police Ch Vijaya Rao said that they received 87 calls relating to injuries and 53 calls relating to road accidents. 

In all, they received 443 calls including crime relating to property, calls relating to suicides, calls relating to other categories.

He appreciated the police officials for successfully conducting the progreamme and urged the public avail the facility provided by the district police to solve their problems. 

He warned that he would take stern action against those callers who would furnish wrong information.
