Entrance test results in Sanskrit Sastras released

Tirupati: The All India Combined Entrance Test for admission into Sanskrit BEd (Siksha Sastri), MEd (Siksha Acharya) and PhD (in different Sastras) i.e, CSSET, CSAET and CVVT-2018 for the academic year 2018-19, which was conducted on May 20, 2018 by Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP), here was declared on Monday.

The results were declared by the Vice-Chancellor of RSVP Prof V Muralidhara Sharma, who said that Vidyapeetha was very much particular about providing the quality education in Sanskrit. He congratulated the team headed by Prof Prahlad Joshi for getting the results as per schedule.

The Convener and Dean of Faculty of Education, Prof Prahlad R Joshi said 7,523 candidates have applied for all the three courses out of which 6,707 have appeared for entrance test. Among them, 2,212 have qualified for admission into all courses. The examination was conducted at 26 centres across the country.

The counselling for admissions would be commenced by June end. Registrar Prof Ch P Satyanaryayana, Dean of Academic affairs Prof RL Narasimha Sastry, Dr Radhagovinda Tripathy, Dr Sachidanandamurthy, Prof N Latha, Prof K Suryanaryayana, members from Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri RS Vidyapeetha, Prof Bharath Bhushan from New Delhi, Dr Madhukeswar Bhatt from Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi, R Venkataramaiah, Madhumitha, Radhamadhavi, Madhu, Raju and others were present during the occasion. While Priyanka from Delhi secured first rank in BEd entrance test and Deepak Kumar Rout of Odisha stood first in MEd
entrance test.
